If his kid was a crook and either killed someone or

was killed by someone else, I can't see how he'd feel better about it. There is something funny about the way this was written though. I'd have to wonder why the kid didn't recognize his own father. There's more to the story somewhere.

That articles I've read refer to the house next door as a neighbor...no mention of sister.
