Boycott U2 too
Feb 9, 2012 4:35PM PST

U2 endorses Apple products. By association they obviously endorse the 18 suicides that occurred at Foxconn. U2 were endorsing Apple when Apple had no recycling policy. Since U2 have been so outspoken on a number of issues such as labour conditions in other countries and writing off 3rd World dept we should hold them up to their own hypocritical standards.

For what Apple charges, they could manufacture in the US
Feb 11, 2012 11:51AM PST

For what Apple charges, they could manufacture in the US and still turn a handsome profit. It's always been the case that Apple products are both extremely proprietary and extremely overpriced. This is why I have never bought anything they have ever sold.

I Boycotted Chinese Products for 6 Months!
Feb 16, 2012 11:00PM PST

We wonder why our economy is in the toilet, but nearly EVERYTHING we buy is made in China!
Apple is a HUGE offender too. The iphone used toxins to create their screens. China has NO labor laws and no environmental laws. We are poisoning the USA by producing our products there.
Why can't we build the iphones in the USA?! Because it saves Apple tons of money $$$!
And what do i really need to say about the economy?? Look online - China is BOOMING - building new cities everyday (even solar-powered cities!), and improving their standard of living. Meanwhile the USA's standard of living is going down, and our (older) cities in particular are ghost-towns.
USA needs to start thinking long-term, and STOP IMPORTING EVERYTHING from CHINA!!!
Try finding a shirt or a toaster made in the USA! It's pitiful. And it anything happens to our flow of cheap imports from China, we will be left shirtless (literally!).
