Do you think 3D touch will ruin the iPhone 6S?

Sep 13, 2015 7:27PM PDT

If you don't know what 3D touch is, it's a new feature coming to the iPhone 6S. Look it up, probably.
Anyways,

I was all hyped for this 3D touch when I realized the harm it could potentially do. What if your fingers ache from pressing to hard? What if you're overweight and your fingers weigh more? What if you're just resting your finger on something and the 3D Touch feature for that thing keeps popping up? What if you're in the middle of an intense moment in an app and you're touching the screen hard? And many other thing. What do you think?

I think I've heard this before.

Touch screens and aching fingers are not new complaints. Folk are smart enough to not buy things that cause them pain.

Not sure what you mean by this question...

"What if you're overweight and your fingers weigh more? "

I don't see how weight of your fingers has anything to do with pressure on the screen. Isn't the pressure applied to the screen done by you controlling your muscles and the use of motor skills?

I don't think it will ruin it at all. IMHO it will make navigating and getting what you want more efficiently and faster. People will adapt fast and if it's not for you, I'm sure you can turn the feature off. There is my 2 cents worth Grin!
