I've never been able to type well on cell phones. And with cingular, without a texting plan, it costs 10 cents per message sent and received. So that would cost me $800 just for sending and figure if each one had a response thats $1,600 dollars YIKES!, my parents would kill me, and of course make me pay for it as well. But even with a texting plan its not cheap.

Typing on a phone?

What an amazing modern world we live in.

I'm told my cell phone is capable of handling text messages. I've never tried it out. If entering text were easier I might think about it but entering text on phone buttons is a royal PITA, and anyway if memory serves there's a charge per message (or is it per character? I forget) and I'm cheap. Besides, most folks have voice mail or answering machines.

8000 messages a month? That's almost 300 messages per day! I'm not sure I have that much to say to anybody.
