Do you like the new shuffles?

by Alegoo92 / January 30, 2007 3:50 AM PST

I just saw pictures of the new, colorful, iPod shuffles. They really don't surprise me, since the shuffle is made of the same aluminum as the nano, you'd expect them to have colored ones anyway...

Well in any case, from the pictures, I think the shuffles look like cheap candy from Mr. Bulky or something, not an iPod. Is it just me or does anyone think that a product as sleek as the iPod should look professional in most ways, like white or black? (not like rock candy with white marks in the middle...)

PS: I actually do like the blue/green nanos, and the green under silver on the original iPod shuffle 2G, dont get me wrong.. I just think that the shuffles look silly now..

i personally don't like all of the colors, but i do see that there are a handful of people who like the choice of color. I have a Black 30 GB Video, and the only reason i have black is because my mom returned my original white one because it had issues, and when she returned it the apple store gave my mom a black one, but at the time i did not care and told her not to return it. Now that i think about it, i wish i had the white one! I think white is the best, but i do realize that a ton of people like color, even though scratches show very strongly on the black, and i am not sure about the other colors but ya....

Sry for my long rant!

I love a little color
by ktreb / January 30, 2007 12:32 PM PST

And I wish I waited a little bit longer to buy a shuffle. I almost bought some cases for it (seemed a bit pointless, since no screen to protect) to add some color. But right now, there is no compelling reason for me to buy another iPod. I already have five.

Hmmm...I do like the orange and the blue...I already have a pink Nano.
Maybe kind of looks cool with the pink...

Looks like a winner for my gym time...
by DaveTheBA-QA / January 31, 2007 2:42 AM PST

While I love my 80Gb video iPod, it's not practical for the gym as it's too heavy to clip to my gym shorts or put in a pocket. I'm not a fan of the sport armbands for iPods, either.

I've been thinking of getting a iPod Shuffle for a few weeks, but now that I see the orange Shuffle, I think I'll be stopping by my local Apple Store in the next couple of days. It's perfect to clip to my t-shirt of my gym shorts.
