I realize big business has been a part of university or schools for a long time. They name thier arena after them or big league teams even in major sports do the same, but I can't recall ever anyone being told to have their colors re-used. It may seem like a simple thing, but let's face it, if they can do that then really why not ask for the moon. In fact, let's just make *ALL* college sports, be paid players and NOT scholarships or similar, a real salary. Why not, you're getting $ for everything else. Heck, small school as in high schools get money for fixing the sports side, then have their machines installed all over, until someone complains, think soda machines. The only way they get kicked out is due to health reasons or similar. What a crock, UofM wants a different "yellow", gee what the original colors not good enough, why not green over green for the color of greed and money.

If want to do that for a business change a logo or colors or start something to remake your business, that's OK, but not the school colors, that should be the "3rd rail" of sports. Will the Yankees give-up "pinstripes" or Detroit, the classic, "D". Anyone have a comment? -----Willy ![]()
