So here's what I am looking for:
I have a single outlet in my room that is conveniently wired into a switch by my door. I love this because I have hooked up alternative LED lighting in my room to it that I can easily flip on and off.
However, there are other areas of my room I want to install more LED lighting into. Unfortunately, they are not near this one particular switched outlet and I don't want to run tacky extension cords all over the place.
So, I was thinking there was possibly some product on the market that could wirelessly control the power of other outlets in my room based off of the power to my switched outlet. So that when I flip the switch to turn on the default outlet all the other outlets I have my LED lighting plugged into throughout the room would power on as well & visa-versa.
Anyone know of something like this that exists? All I could find were user remote controlled power switches.
