I don't know about Reid

The only part of the article that made sense was "but at some point you have to do your job."

Both sides have not been doing their jobs for a long time.

I'm looking at a positive, not a negative

It's their job to vote for a budget, not against one. Someone needs to come up with a budget for a change.

The Republicans HAVE, Diana
by TONI H / April 4, 2012 7:29 AM PDT

Reid won't bring it to a vote in the Senate.....but the way the process normally works is this way:

The House comes up with a budget.......The SENATE comes up with a budge........then the two come together and work together to merge the two budgets and get something that works.

REID has refused to come up with a budget for three years or more now (since BO took office) so it's the SENATE that has fallen down on the job.

I'm not saying that it's all the Republicans fault. I condemn both parties equally. Obama came up with a budget and the Republicans came up with a budget. I haven't really seen either budget so I can't say if I would support either one. The Democrats still need to come up with a budget and they won't because this is an election year and they don't want to have anyone mad at them.

BTW, did the House vote on the Republican budget?
