Even UHD 4K only needed 25 megabit links so there's no call for over 100 megabit today.
This is why makers don't bother.
Hi all … a newbie here.
Building a new house and have wired gigabit infrastructure end-to-end … cable modem / router / ethernet switch / CAT6A U/FTP cable / CAT6A shielded keystones / CAT 6A U/FTP patches … all, end-to-end.
Now, do the new C8's (specifically, the OLED65C8PUA) ethernet input support gigabit input speeds or are they still in 19th Century mode 10/100?
If not, if I resort to Wi-Fi over the new Eero hubs mesh network (it is a gigabit router, as well ) will I have better feeds for video streaming?
Many thanks, and apologies if this has been raised before, but I did not see a search function.
