Do I need more than one HDMI input on a LCD TV?

I am in the market for a 26 inch LCD TV for my bedroom. I am trying to decide between a Panasonic TC-26LX60 and the Samsung LNS2652-D. The salespeople really seem to push the Samsung at all the stores I have shopped in recently. The Samsung has two HDMI inputs and the Panasonic only offers one. Is it necessary to have two inputs? What are my advantages. Your input is appreciated!

2 is always better than 1

But it depends if your going to utilize those imputs. If it's for your bedroom and the only thing your going to hook up to it, via HDMI, is lets say a dvd player, then your only going to need 1. However, if in the future you want to add a ps3 then your probably going to be kicking yourself for not getting the samsung, cause then you would have to go out and buy one of those HDMI converters. I would consider the price of the tv's and what all exactly you will be hooking up in the future but keep in mind 2 is always better than 1...if the price is right

One more question....

Thanks for your input! One more question, if I have the cable feeding into one HDMI input, would it be better to have the DVD/VCR recorder feeding into a second HDMI input? Does it make any difference on the HD quality of the picture if everything feeds into one input? Thanks for your help!

IN THAT CASE YOU MAY NOT NEED 2 HDMIs ON YOUR TV..........

ALSO CHECK OUT THE SONY BRAVIA KDL-26S2010, excellent set in your size range. SAMSUNG LCDs are better than PANASONIC's, in my opinion.
Try to do some side-by-side viewing of the SONY & SAMSUNG.

Best shopping, river.
