Your choice.

A common example is the movie Blair Witch Project was made on an old tape based camcorder.

Quality content does not depend on the gear it seems.

You can use any camera to provide the raw video. My video editor (Corel's VideoStudio) gives me access to YouTube directly and renders the video into the correct format. I expect other editors have the same facility.

IMO all YT video should be carefully edited to stop the appearance of a load of shots being strung together in a haphazard way. There is more than enough rubbish on YT.

Video Quality degraded

Isn't it like when I edit movie which is recorded with low quality gear, it would degrade the quality?

Qualities such as CONTENT versus other aspects.

Almost any smart phone today could make a YouTube video. We know that it's not the camera or hardware that makes "quality."

Ansel Adams worked in black and white so color may be optional as well.

What do you have now? What's stopping you from making your YouTube now?
