Do I keep the MB air, or get something else

My husband bought me a MB air for Christmas. I am not an apple fan, but he bought it because I really need something to use for all the photos I want to work on.
Not a professional photographer, but I want to be able to edit pics easily without a freeze up.
All reviews for photography laptops are geared to pros, of which I am not.
Just need something (pref a touch screen) that I can load photos and the like.
Already have my iPad for games, and I am cheap..

What's wrong with it?

Many would like one of those.

Nothing really

I have read that they are kind of antiquated. They have not really had any big updates in a few years.
The screen is not touch screen, and in the past I have been a pc person, not apple.
If there is a good 2 in 1 out there that would cost less than the air, which gives me no lag on photo editing.. would love to hear it

Agree they are pricey

I personally prefer Linux on PC's. I see many that come here like the Asus laptops. Dell is a known quality. Since this is for graphics, you need to search one one with sufficient RAM, a strong processor, and a better than average graphics chip on it.

If you want a cheaper PC?

Hello if you need a cheaper PC you can sell your MB air and have a look on dell or even chinese PC. Dell is good quality and not too much expensive and for chinese brands like xiaomi huawei emmmm maybe their quality not so much good but for daily work i think would be ok. Anyway good luck 2018!
