Question

do I have a virus?

Jul 12, 2017 10:03AM PDT

I have a Toshiba laptop, model #L305D with windows 7. Several days ago, I noticed that whenever I open my browser (I use firefox) I see a blank page with the url http://www.inlinesearch.com I still get the same page whether I open the home page or if I open the last session used.

I've done scans with my anti-virus (avast), spybot & malware bytes. Those programs have found some issues but they still haven't had an effect on this issue!

Can someone help me figure out what's going on? If you need more info, I will be happy to provide it.

Thank you.

Tried Simply Changing The Home Page Line?
Jul 12, 2017 10:49AM PDT

Open Firefox, click on "Tools" in the upper left, choose "Options", then the "General" tab. Make sure it says: "Show your home page" in the line next to "When Firefox starts". Then make sure the Home Page line is correct. You could type "https://www.google.com/" (without the quotes) in that line if you wish. Close Firefox and re-open it.

Another free tool that gets rid of adware junk is at the link below. Download, install, and run it.:

Hope this helps.
