It comes with a base station that would connect to your computer. Just use a built in EQ from a piece of audio software to get your sound right. Understand though, high energy local sources can often hose the most shielded wireless system. It's often trial and error until you figure out what works, and what devices cause havoc with others in the vicinity.
Personally, I feel you need to separate the high quality audio output you desire from your cellular & PC activities, such as wireless/bluetooth headphones w/ VoIP, etc. Those headphones will be designed much differently than your more audiophile set, and will be easier to find something suitable, and less expensive.
Truth be told though, it doesn't even sound like you are working with any high quality audio sources. I would probably keep a decent pair of traditional wired headphones around just for comparison if you are mostly listening to lossy (compressed) files streamed over 3G. Your .wbc files are new to me (sure they aren't WMA?)
I would find a way to run the whole shebang off your laptop. Given the amount of free apps both in the Android marketplace and Apple app store, you should be able to fine something decent. I could assist in getting you set up for free VoIP calling on the iPhone if you need it. The free Talkatone app with Google Voice works great as a VoIP solution, along with free SMS.
