Those PCIe 3.0 video cards are known to work in almost all PCIe 2.x systems. Is this the old question about backwards compatibility? If so, I defer to that.
If not, then if the maker does not answer you may want to return their product and buy from companies that answer your questions.

My motherboard is an ECS A55F-M2 (FM1 with A55 chips) and I can't find anywhere whether it supports PCI-E 3.0 or not. Also, I can't find any FM1/FM2 A55, A75 nor A85 motherboard that explicitly claims support for PCI-E 3.0
So my question is: can I run an AMD HD 7750 (PCI-E 3.0) on my motherboard or on any of the chips I mentioned above? ECS official website for my A55F-M2 doesn't say that it supports anything higher than an AMD HD 6xxx (http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_Detail...)
Also, I'd not want to upgrade to FM2 just to use a new discrete video card (I'd rather upgrade to an Intel i5 or AM3+ FX 6xxx)
