Question

DO ALL CPU'S FIT ALL MOTHERBOARDS????

Does it matter what motherboards I have when choosing and salvaging CPU's? What is the general rule of thumb when configuring parts such as these two? \

Thanks

There's only one rule: the CPU should be on the compatibility list for the motherboard, as given by the maker of the motherboard.

and what you going to do with it. I say forget that. I don't know what your exact plans are from your posts, but for the most economical way, think refurbish computers.

I suspect your in over your head with this project.

Start small build a simple rig with one monitor and get it to run the app you want.

After that's done now give some thought as to how to expand this to multiple monitors.
