Question

DNS probe question

Sep 3, 2015 4:36PM PDT

So I'm getting the "DNS probe finished no internet" error message and have tried all solutions I can find including firewall disabling, DNS flushing, IP reconfiguration, and all the others I can find on a forum/YouTube. The problem only exists when I'm using the personal hotspot on my iPhone. And I tried connecting to a different iPhone and everything went smoothly. Any ideas?

Thanks for taking the time

Oh and to clarify

Also, my iPhone hotspot works fine on my laptop, so the problem seems like it must be somewhere in the communication between my phone and my desktop.

OK, I have a desktop and laptop, Iphone.

But no OS or other details to work with. It's harsh but maybe we should reset the desktop to factory conditions and try again?

Of course, I should have specified. I'm running windows 8.1. Any other details that would be useful?

Remember I don't have anything else.
