DNS ERROR INTERNET EXPLORER

by nome_ / January 7, 2006 12:11 PM PST

I do internet banking and when I click onto the LOG IN it opens a new window (Like it is supose to) but then it comes up with Page Not Found and DNS Error.
I run Windows XP and Norton Antivirus. Just recently I had to delete a file that contained a virus and since then I can cot access the Log On sites. I have tried the IEFIX and checked the Firewall systems etc and still it won't let me access it? I have NO Problems comming up in Norton.
If any one can help me I would apprishiate it.

When I shut down the computer last night I put it into hybernate instead of shutdown, so I shut down the computer completely and hey presto it works well. I think it just needed to shutdown all the way
If you are using Norton Antivirus make sure you RESTART your computer if you had to delete a virus from your computer
Thanks for your help everyone.
