DLP Toshiba 46HM48 vs. 52HM58: Is only the size different?

Jun 15, 2005 2:15PM PDT

Does anyone know if the above two models are equal in all respects except size? I want to get the 46'', but I want to make sure it's just as good as the 52'' in picture quality, electronics, and features.
Thanks!

Toshiba 46" DLP

I went ahead and purchased the 46" model. I'm VERY happy with it. Even the analog stations look great with the exception of USA which is a little grainy, but that's not the TV's fault.
I read that the ratio of screen size to distance from the set is about 5 to 1. Since I sit about 9 feet from the set I got the 46" instead of the 52".
Good luck.

I don't carry either of those two models but do carry the HM84 which is a great TV. It lacks on features but has a great picture quality. I don't see any of the other models being a bad choice either.
