DLP Comparison: Samsung, Panasonic or Toshiba

Jan 18, 2005 4:25AM PST

I am thinking to buy a dlp tv before this superbowl. So far, I am thinking to pick one of the above 3 brands. I went to circuit city, best buy and many other places, but found out the same tv quality varies lot. (e.g. The samsung one in best buy seems to be best one, but does not look so in circuit city)

Could any one help me out on this?

Thanks !

David

Samsung won't let you down

I was in a similar situation - spent months reading, checking out stores, comparing brands. I finally bought the Samsung with the Gen3 chip and I love it. HD feeds (especially for the Super Bowl) are superb. I thought the picture quality on the Samsung was better compared to the Sony and Mitubishi's I compared it against. It all comes down to preference and price really.
