Sorry if you feel shortchanged but that's how that jack works. It's been discussed to the point of pain. If this is something you can't stand, return the set. There is no option to change except to use some receiver that does this in place of the set.
As to the frame rate issue, you may have to TRANSCODE the content to something compatible with the set. Some of these tools can bump up the volume as well. Sorry but I no longer support any transcoder. Folk seem to want tutorials and more in replies but I do like HANDBRAKE.
I have a Samsung UE50EH5300K TV and I've got two more questions / problems.
The first is whenever I record a video on my phone or tablet (Nexus 4 and Nexus 10) and then try to send it to the TV via DLNA it comes up saying that the video cannot be played because "Frame Rate: 30 is not supported"... how can I get round this?
Also if I'm watching something on headphones even at 100 volume it's still not quite loud enough, I'd also like it to NOT DISABLE the internal speakers it would be nice to be able to listen to the TV on earphones to block out other people talking and then let them listen to the TV like normal.
Any help would be appreciated.
