DLNA doesnt work

by tjensendk / November 7, 2010 6:16 PM PST

My tv is able to find my pc (wireless) but cant find or play anything throuhg media player. Im using pc share manager v 2.0 and my tv is a led serie 8. On my pc i use windows 7

I think the problem is either to do with the bd wise which is on but is grayed and cant be turned off or maybe some problems with pc share version vs windows 7.

Have tried turning off my firewall but it doesnt help

BD Wise is a Samsung protocol for automatic selection of picture settings. It won't have anything to do with this.

Have you tried a different server? I think Windows Media Player should work if sharing is enabled.

This sounds like my problem. What did you do on the media player to get it to work?

In WMP, right click on library and then click on media sharing. Make sure it is enabled and then make sure your device is in the list and is on allow and not deny.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
