DJay (Mac) vs. Virtual DJ (Mac)

by westmeadow / November 17, 2011 9:15 AM PST

Starting to get into DJing and, for what I've been doing recently, I'd like to commit to some DJ software. I want something cheap to get my feet wet. I've used Virtual DJ Home for Mac before and I really like it, but I've heard good stuff about DJay by Algoriddim before. Virtual DJ Home is the wonderful price of free and it's pretty versatile. DJay is $20, a price I'd gladly pay if I know it will actually be better than what I'm using. Does anyone have any input?

Yeah, this made sense to me and I figured this was the case. It never hurts to ask though. Happy

R. Proffitt's reply was helpful, but it did not answer my main question. Still looking for input! Happy

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
