Display Quality Question

If two displays have same pixel count, are same size, and both have Trubrite tech, but one has twice the brightness and contrast versus the other--will these differences be perceptible under normal web surfing, DVD and still photo viewing, and home movie editing apps? These displays are the Qosmio F15 and the newer F25. I'm not able to see the screens personally. I have seen the F10 screen--I like it alot.

The older F15 model has the brighter screen and more contrast. The F15 is 415 nits vs 200 for the F25. Also, the contrast ratio is 400:1 vs 200:1 in favor of the older F15.

Will the clarity of the screens be only nominally different? How much of a tradeoff is there in screen quality?
