"After installing XP I tried playing my Madden 2004."
Microsoft does NOT fetch and install current drivers for motherboard, video, audio and other items for you. Many are caught by this failing and only realise later that you still get to research what machine parts you have and find current drivers, then install them.
Installing software that balks at install is your choice and you may find support to be thin to non-existant.

Hello. I just installed Windows XP on my computer. When I was installing it I got the message about some programs on your computer may not work with XP. So I did what I thought I needed to do without removing them and thinking they may work. Well, one of those programs was a game controller I have installed in my computer. After installing XP I tried playing my Madden 2004. It works perfectly. The controller works and everything. But, the screen constantly flashes only while I'm playing a game. I don't know how to explain what it does. It just flashes different colours and shapes and such. The games works fine through all of this though, except for the very annoying and troubling flashes of light. Would this be caused by the controller. Since it was said to may not work with XP and all. Or is that not the case since the controller still works fine.
Does anyone know??
