Display Problem

Dec 25, 2003 6:20AM PST

I've an old WinXP/Win98SE PC that won't boot up. There seems to be a display problem. "NT loader is missing..." but also the same text keeps streaming down the display. Any ideas about the display problem? Thanks.

That isn't a display problem, it's a problem with the part of the OS that the computer uses to load it.

Try running the repair option off of the XP CD by booting with it. It should repair the problem with some luck, and all will be well again.
