I've got a problem (obviously) which started about a month ago. I have a compaq presario 2700 laptop with XP sp2. In "display properties" I go to "settings" and set my "color quality" at 32 bit and "screen resolution" at various pixels; now I'm using 1152 X 864. It stays that way until I turn the computer off and reboot. Then, the display resets to 8 bit and I have to go back in and change it to 32. It only resets when it reboots and does it every time. I'm not sure if the problem started before or after I downloaded the SP2 for XP or went to AOL 9.0 from 8.0. Can anyone offer any suggestions? It isn't a huge problem but it sure is annoying.
