Display issue with Desktop Sheet Music Application

Jul 27, 2010 4:29AM PDT

This application was originally introduced in the Windows 95 era. I know, it's old. The application also runs perfectly fine in windows 98SE. However, the owner is Midisoft.com and they say their product now runs in Windows XP. I've communicated with them but have this continuing issue: Basically the display is a piano-roll display that is sync'd to the music and moves across the screen from right-to-left. But, after some time, about 50 measures or so, the display stops moving. There is also a 'measure counter' that is sync'd. to the music, it also stops at the same place. I've followed Midisoft's advice to "get the latest video card drivers," however no cure. If I close the application and then open it again it repeats this same routine. I've installed this application on several PC's with the same issue. I hope someone has some ideas that I can try to resolve this issue.
