Display colors are reversed

Feb 13, 2006 12:31AM PST

My display colors are reversed, i.e. what is suppose to be black is white and vice versa. My background is black and my text is white. I reloaded the video drivers and the display is fine except for the reverse color display.I am running Windows XP on a Dell inspiron 85oo laptop. I have tried to change the display settings on the advanced tab, but only get differnt degrees of color. My resolution is set to 1024x768 and color to 32 bit(highest). I have also tried to adjust the brightness, but to no avail.

taylor333, Go into Display Properties>Appearance tab and click the ''Adavanced'' button, click on ''Windows Text'' and on the right for ''Color: 1'' set it to ''White'' and this should then show ''Black'' under Color: to the right of the word Font: Click OK/Apply/OK.

Still no luck. All of the colors seem to be distorted.
