Disk permissions

Hello friends,

Doing my weekly maintenance to maintain my beautiful new iMac, I happened upon this funky little error message at the end.

"Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAgent" has been modified and will not be repaired."

I don't know if I need to contact Apple support about this, or does anyone know what that means/what to do about it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

this is not a problem and can be safely ignored.

If you leave your mac running 24/7, it will do it's own maintenance routines sometime between 12 midnight and 4am.

They are called CRON jobs and have routines that run Daily, Weekly and Monthly, it's a Unix thing.

Doesn't deal with permissions though, that's an OS X thing

Helpful, as always; I had a different account, but you've been solving my issues for the past four years or so. Much appreciated; leave this board and there will be hell to pay!
