It's a roll of the dice when it comes to shrinking the current partition, leading many to investigate third-party tools such as the freeware application GParted. You should be far more successful with it, and it's a native Linux application.
Hello. I am trying to shrink my hard-drive to make two partitions so I can have a dual boot Vista/Linux setup. When I attempt to shrink my drive it only shrinks by 15 MB. There is almost 50 GB of free space. Am I doing something wrong?
Using Vista Home Premium.
