Disk Drive

I have an old CD burner, and floppy disk drive that are internal. I have no space in my desktop, and i'm thinking of getting a laptop. Is there any way to make an internal drive external? is there something you can buy that will turn that ribbon wire into USB? Thanks!!!

Yes you can, but it may be cheaper to purchase a new drive.
