Disk Check for consistancy

I am using a Toshiba Portege M400 which runs on windows vista. I got it recently and whenever it boots up, there'll be a message that says somthing like "disk check for consistency for C: drive
the file type is NTFS"

IS there any solution to this?

The other post are about the reverse problem: they can't run chkdsk even if they want.
