Disgusting Outrageous Media Persons

Here's a prime example of how reporters try to put words in the mouths of people, in this case Florida's governor, and when their tactic isn't working for them they have a petulant fit over it. Scott tried several times to answer the question as he wanted, but since it wasn't what the "host" wanted, Scott was treated shamefully by these disgusting excuses for journalist.

Hopefully neither this Governor, nor any other, will EVER give them so much as the time of day from this day forward. I'd love to see other potential interviewee's simply refuse to be a "guest" at any interview, thereby removing their effectiveness as journalist and be rid of them eventually.
=======================

""Florida Gov. Rick Scott’s appearance on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” lasted all of two questions — neither of which were answered during a less-than-four-minute segment before he was booted off the show.

Co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski spent nearly as much time talking about the governor — with Brzezinski blasting him over his refusal to answer questions during the interview and questioning whether he should be leading a state — after his segment than they spent talking to him during it.

“That was weak sniveling political wavering,” Brzezinski told Scarborough, characterizing Scott’s responses. “I doubt his endorsement would have any impact anyway. Sorry.”

“I can tell you what’s going on in Florida,” Scott began, before Scarborough interrupted and asked again for him to answer the question.""

“Do you personally think that Islam is a religion that hates America?”

Co-host Mika Brzezinski wasn’t satisfied. “That’s not answering any questions. Rick, Rick, Rick, Rick, Rick, Rick, I know you and Joe are friends and this is kind of awkward, but can you answer the question or should we scoot?” she asked.

Brzezinski, meanwhile, intimated Scott shouldn’t be governing a state. “I would suggest if you’re the governor of a state you should be able to answer that question and you should be able to say those things, and if you can’t you really shouldn’t be a governor — especially Florida,” Brzezinski said. “I think I better move to break.”

“He could not answer the question as to whether or not it’s OK to say that Islam hates America,” she added. “He couldn’t do it. He was pathetic. He chose not to answer it. He chose to be weak. And so we had him leave the show, because we’re not doing that.”

I would love to see all other politicians just totally boycott this MSNBC "Morning Joe" show in future, let it wither up and die. They are nothings. Ambush journalism needs to end, and shunning shows which engage in it to hasten it's demise.

of the information we need to make informed decisions in our election process and other arenas as well. We only know what they want us to know...and we're stupid enough to pay them to do this.

Journalists should ask questions that viewers would like answers to....questions that all sides would ask the person being interviewed. Let the viewer decide/discuss how a person "comes across".......

Of course, some people answer questions they would like to be asked and not the questions they were asked. Another opportunity for the viewer to make their own judgement call.

answers to..." I agree. So why don't they do so? Perhaps it's because they consider the viewer's desires to be boring and vanilla. They'd much rather create havoc than have to deal with harmony.

want to be the news, not report the news. They actually believe most of it's about THEM. They've tried to turn daytime news into late night variety shows.
