I thought it might be a scam since I bought version 7 on 03/29/11 at a discount price that was only good for 24 Hrs. The next day version 8 was released. Maybe the sales department figured that since I now owned an outdated version I would invest in the new version.
Hello Piplanc,
I can assure that the offer for WinOptimizer7 was not a scam, and I will do my best to assist you in unlocking your full version of the product.
Did you receive a email with your license key after completing the transaction? When you install the application, you are prompted to enter this license key, which will unlock the full version 7.
Please see this step by step instruction guide for clarification:

Hi Gregg - Thanks for your reply. I got e-mailed license key and entered it as directed. When I used the software it operated normally, cleared 100 errors then referred me to the full price purchase page for further action. It was definately a trial version.
I felt "scammed" and wiped WIN opt.7. from my library. I take your word that it was not intended as a scam and would be happy to accept your offered assistance.
I guess the step by step address you suggested only applies if WIN opt.7 were still in
my machine.?

Piplanc
