Disconnecting from internet

Where in XP can I click to get my internet connection to ask me if I want to disconnect?? I used to get a box that I clicked in win 98 now I dont get that

Start>Connect to>show all connections> Right click on connection which has a tick in a black surround> click on 'disconnect'. Otherwise 'Control panel' etc.

Whenever you are connected, you should have an icon present in the taskbar near the clock. If you Right click this icon, you can click Disconnect.

You want to be "asked" if you want to disconnect.

that feature isn't available with XP. You can check the properties of your dialup connections through the network connections or internet options in the control panel.
