URGENT! URGENT! URGENT! URGENT! URGENT!
Running WindowsME on Compaq 5005CL, experiencing new problem with e-mail. Messages sent through the Windows 2000 or XT Operating Systems will give me a ERROR.
I tried to save to file then download with my S/W.
With my browser(Internet Explorer 6.0)trying to read
attachments from new systems I get a message.
WordPad has caused an ERROR in - MSWRD832.CNU
The two should be communicating but I cant get the
attachments. Same e-mail to newer systems works ??

Proffitt,
Your suggestion for OpenOffice.org was good. Looks like a great program, although it is from the UK and also takes 5.5hrs to download over the tellie.
I went to Prinston University web site that talks about(MSWRD832.CNV ERRORS), and downloaded a patch for early Win95 or 98 S/W but it didn't do the job ??
Checked with Microsoft, and downloaded (ork.exe)
that is similar software for same problem, but it
also failed........................ STILL LOOKING.
