and see if you can configure the printers again
P
I'm running Snow Leopard on a 15" MacBook Pro. It has been connected via USB and WiFi to two printers, Canon Pixma MX850 and HP Photosmart C750. I was able to print successfully on both until I installed Parallels 5 and Windows 7, which is running in Coherence mode. The printers then listed their queue items as printing but then said the machines were offline, even though they are turned on. I reinstalled the software for the MX 850 and the printer driver from the Canon website. Even though both indicated they were installed, the printer is not included in the list of printers connected to the computer, and no computer icon appears on the task bar. The HP appears in the list of computers but still won't print and still gives me the offline message.
I've done obvious steps such as rebooting the computer and printer, reseating the connections and so on. I have not swapped out the printer cable since both machines had been functioning on WiFi until this problems occurred. I am at my wit's end. I do not have AppleCare but am willing to pay for a tech support call if needed. What should I do next?
