and why would I want the same model if it was a failure? Who know why the motherboard failed? It could have been the other CPU which lead to it's failure.
Actually, I have a series 8 TV with model code UE60KS8000 and recently I contacted Samsung’s support for an HDMI problem. After updating the TV OS, it was unable to detect any HDMI device (PlayStation, PC&hellip
. After a quick diagnostic, the technician said there is a motherboard issue, and we have to change it.
After two days, the TV was back but with an UE60KS7000 instead of UE60KS8000. I contacted the Samsung’s support, and I had as answer that both models (series 8 and series 7) have actually the same motherboard!!! When in checking in Internet, I found that at least series 8 have a CPU with 1,2Ghz frequency and series 7 have 1Ghz!
Also, the TV is unable to load conditions terms when trying to launch the APPS program.
So, is this is a matter with TV parameters or is this a real problem of hardware? I just, can’t accept this situation, because for me, they changed a big component for a new model with one from a previous other.
