disabling home network

Installing DSL, I mistakenly set up home network. Now I must sign in (or "cancel") home network window that pops up each logon.
How is this annoyance removed without compromising other programs?

That was not a mistake. But to logon automatically is a frequently asked question. Very easy to solve.

1. Delete *.PWL files in C:\Windows
2. Change the logon in the Network Control Panel to Windows
3. Reboot.
4. Answer the logon with a name, but do not touch the password. Click OK.

That's usually it.
