Disable print dialog

by Audaciter / February 1, 2011 4:21 AM PST

Hi, I'm wondering if there's a way to disable the print dialog that appears when you print something. I'd like it to just automatically send it to the default printer.

Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 2

This is for a demonstration of a touch screen kiosk for in-store retail use.

The final product will have a built-in printer, but for this demo (for a very important client) I'm attaching a portable printer, and it would be really nice to just have it print without having to click on the print dialog.

Didn't work

Thanks -- I already tried that one but it didn't work. I think it may only work in Internet Explorer, which just doesn't work for this application. I'm using Opera because it's so configurable for kiosk-type applications.

I was hoping to find some sort of setting, option, etc. Maybe even a registry setting.
