DirectX Problem

by msressi / March 28, 2004 8:32 PM PST

My directx gave me problems in such that the error would pop up and throw me out of games, which required a complete reboot. I updated to newest version 9.0B but still get the same error. Please advise. Thank you

Are drivers for motherboard, USB, video cards, audio and the BIOS all current and up to date?

Remember that Microsoft Windows Update or Driver Update doesn't do this for you.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
