Directx 11

Aug 10, 2010 9:01AM PDT

I purchased a pc game which installs Directx 9.0c. The pc I have runs windows 7 which has Directx 11 installed. I didn't see any options to not install Directx 9.0c during the game set up. Can a game or software run with Directx 11 and Directx 9.0c? Does it matter? The game sort of pooped out after a few minutes. I am trying to find out why the game won't continue.

Be sure to name that game so others have a chance to research or maybe share what's up.

You say you checked that but did you use it anyway?

I know this is non-intuitive but I read that and it sounds like a Vista/Windows 7 installer for this title.

And it's what I would use.
