directv poor video quality on big screen televisions

I HAVE HAD DIRECTV SINCE THEY STARTED THE PICTURE, IN THE LAST YEAR HAS REALLY GOTTEN BAD ON MY 60 INCH MITSUBISHI. STILL PICTURES EVEN MOVE, NFL FOOTBALL GAMES LOOK BLURRED WITH COMPRESSION ARTIFACTS AROUND THE PLAYERS DIRECTV IS COMPRESSING THE SIGNAL THEY SENTED A TECH TO CHECK OUT MY SETUP BUT HE FOUND NOTHING WRONG AFTER TALKING TO A DIRECTV TECH HE SAID THAT SOME BIG SCREEN TVS WERE EFFECTED BY THE CHANGES BUT THAT MOST PEOPLE DIDN'T NOTICE IT BUT I TOLD HIM THAT IT WAS VERY NOTICEABLE HE TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THAT THEY COULD DO HE EVEN SAID THAT I SHOULD THINK ABOUT UPGRADING TO THEIR HD SERVICE I INFORMED HIM THAT MY TV IS A ANALOG SET! AM I THE ONLY ONE HAVING THIS PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
