Direct HDTV DVR

I have just bought a DirectTV HD DVR.
It has the Tivo unit with it. I'm used to the Ultimate TV DVR with the jump ahead button. I don't see the same jump ahead on the remote of my new DVR. Does anybody know of a fix to make this work? Thanks
