But I have some great news. Those Enterprise versions come with, to die for support. Time to use it so you get your money's worth!

On a windows 7 enterprise laptop when I run a dir command I do not see the current file size. Files are shown with 0 bytes. I can do a type on the file and after that dir will show the current size. After that even if the file grows dir will not show the current size until I do another type on the file. A coworker says he has noticed the same thing over the last week or so. He is assuming it is a windows update.
I am used to windows explorer not always showing current information without doing view update. But never seen this from a dir command in a shell window.
Any ideas on what is happening or a setting I can change to make the dir command always show current information.
