I found on another forum someone was having the same error code and their problem was that they had 2 usb scanners hooked up at the same time and windows xp couldn't handle it. Only solution was to shut one down and use one at a time. If you don't have two scanners though I don't know what to say except maybe check into whether or not the usb devices you do have might conflict with each other. You might also try updating your usb drivers if you can. If, like you said, it just started happening the other day, try and figure out what you just changed or added recently, new printer, mouse, etc. Hope this helps, nothing more annoying than those stupid error pop-ups!!
