Dimage X1 Users - Please Help!

by Lyndy25 / July 21, 2006 7:15 AM PDT

I have what might seem like a strange request for information from Dimage X1 users. I need help navigating the menus without being able to see what I'm doing on the screen.

No, I'm not blind, I'm using the Dimage X1 for aerial photography from a kite. I acquired a couple of cheap working X1s from ebay with broken screens, mostly because I don't want to send a $200+ camera 1000 feet in the air and I like the 8mp sensor in the X1 (usually). I took the X1 apart and made a custom timer that fires the shutter every 15 or 30 seconds, it was fairly easy to hack.

I need to know the series of button presses to obtain the following settings, if someone with an X1 could note the order for me I would be extremely grateful:
1. Set the ISO to 50. (everything above 50 is too noisy!)
2. Set the exposure compensation to -1 and -2.
3. Set the shutter priority to 1250 (and whatever setting is just below that)

Thanks in advance to whoever takes a moment to note these sequences for me!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
