When I look thru the LCD or the EVF you can see all the setting displays around the frame but the object comes up all black. It takes the picture but it comes up black also. Anyone know what this is or what it could be? HELP ME! Happy Sad

The first thing that comes to mind is the lens cap is still on the camera.

First thing to try is check to see that the camera is in automatic mode and set for recording.

Second thing to try is install fresh/recarged batteries.

Third is to install a different memory card.

Somewhere there is a reset command. You will have to check the owners manual. It is probably in a menu.
Since you can see the control icons you should be able to access it.

That is the only maintenance you can do on a digital camera.

Then it is time to call Konica Minolta and see if they have any suggestions.

Nope the lens cap is off! Happy
I did try the battery and the card thing already and that did not work.
That I know of there is not a record mode like that.
