I bet it had to go because "liability." It looks as if you could make one. Be sure it has a release system so it doesn't choke you.
Looking for a digital voice recorder that records in MP3 format to record my progress in learning new music for chorus and download onto a Mac. I originally had an Olympus WS-321, which only records in WMA. It was perfect for when I had a pc, but now that I have a Mac, I have to convert all the files. Need something small with a neck cord or method of securing to clothing. Does not need voice activation. I'm considering the Olympus VP-10, but it doesn't have a neck cord. Prefer not to spend more than $100 (and do not want to use my phone).
